I've a question for you all:

What would you rather have: twenty-one men, twenty of them guilty of murder, one innocent of any crime whatsoever, put to death, or all twenty-one set free?

Reworded: Would you rather see twenty guilty men walk free, or the twenty guilty men plus one innocent put to death?

Note: you could substitute twenty with any reasonable number. For instance, make it one-hundred guilty men. Does the number of guilty men change your answer?

My answer: I would rather see twenty guilty men walk free, than one innocent put to death (Kelly has volunteered to be the innocent, but I don't want her dead).

Attention All Field Trip Goers!

Tomorrow is GOTHIC DAY!!! In honor of the field trip tomorrow, AM and DQ are going to dress gothic/emo/all black and since we are friends with them, we figure we will dress like that too. And by we, I mean Chancellor. If you Riverbenders feel the urge to join in, feel free- I promise you will not be the only one. If you choose to dress like a normal person, I am afraid that Kevin will have to beat you up while BigHead lectures you on the importance of Ayn Rand's works. DON'T LET THIS BE YOU!!! So don't delay, act today (and by today, I mean at that ungodly hour you have to get up tomorrow morning)- dig out all your gothic clothes and put some on.

a curiosity

it is around 2:00pm during the storm thingy and i was just wondering if anyone else feels extremely ill. for the past few hours i have had a pressure headache on the top and sides of my head and feel slightly feverish. dominique and i think it's just the atmospheric pressure changes and things like that and i just thought i'd ask the rest of you if you were feeling similarly...just curious.
