And Happy Valentine's Day. It may be commercial and superficial (some may say fake), but so is Christmas...
Christmas has more religious backing, however. Much of it has turned commercial, though.
[Note: I did not say that Valentine's day does not, only that Christmas has more]
Valentine's Day is based on love, a very religious theme.
Christmas was originally a pagan holiday, only to be converted to a Christian holiday in order to attract more followers.
