So I am going to a Caps game on friday and forgot to tell the place I work.
Should I call today and say i cant make it and possibly lose my job because i couldnt work the last friday either. Call that day and say im throwing up. Call today or tomorrow and say I have a school trip to D.C?
Any suggestions?

I suggest saying you're sick.
If you say you have a school trip, they'll ask why you didn't tell them sooner. But it's possible it might work if you could convince them you 'forgot' to tell them.
I don't know, you're in a real pickle.
First, I'd sugggest to try and get someone to switch. After that, I'd tell them the truth: You can't work, as you'll be out of town. You didn't tell them as you'd forgotten the plans were for Friday evening. If you say you're sick, they may find a way to try and check up on you--though I doubt it--but if you say you're out of town--which is completely true--they have no way to check it.

even if you do get fired your 17 and you can get a job pretty much anywhere
True Jake, but i like my job.
I recently told them i could only work fridays instead of tuesdays and fridays. I also didnt work last friday because of the SAT and fridays are hard to fill cuz nobody wants to work fridays. Im just gonna call them in the afternoon and tell them i threw up twice.
yeah, i would say something to get out of work, the Caps are worth it.
