Initially formed in the fall of 2004, the CGS Riverbend Class of 2008 had been together of an epic four years of high school. It disbanded in 2008 after graduation, but it still remains the best in all of CGS history.

but then we would be blogging about baseball and I'm pretty sure that that would be the worst thing to blog about
though we could blog about how ESPN's coverage of the DC-LA game consisted of the score and a million shots of Becks instead of showing the goal, numerous other chances, or the red card
Kelly, NOBODY LIKES MLS...except for Mr. Conlee but he's a loser anyway. Baseball is America's greatest past-time, not soccer. I beleive in innovent until proven guilty brian. Plus if you are that old and have hit that many homeruns, you deserve some sort of title.

Or we could not talk about any sports, not that I can think of an alternative at this time... And for the record, baseball is one of the most boring sports to watch (or to play), there's so much time when everyone is just standing still doing nothing, and even at the best times only a few players are ever doing something significant at the same time.

to play kelly. I knew it was something you wouldn't understand. Physically and mentally challenging, i knew you wouldn't get it.
i can see the mentally challenging part of golf, but did you say physically challenging? I cant see how swinging a club is challenging unless the one swinging it is way out of shape. It doesn't compare to having to run for 90 minutes in soccer game or trying to tackle people in football for 4 quarters. I'm sorry, i just dont see it.
it is physically challenging, and i know it doesnt look it, but anybody who doesnt play golf has no idea how hard it is to continually swing in the same manner and create a good shot. and you wont understand until you try
your right, i've never played 18 holes of golf. I guess i'll have to go golfing with you guys one day so i can see for myself
u can come golfing with me one day, and i will beat the absolute shit out of all of you. whew. now that thats out. One can swing a club. easy. Can one swing a club in the exact same way every time they take a full swing. Golf is also about knowledge. One has to know how far they are from their target, what their target is, which way the wind is blowing(if at all), what the ground will do to the club head as it speeds through at 100 mph, and what the greens are like. Try doing this with 50 pounds on your back in 114 degree weather (heat index). Now after about 2 holes one is dripping in sweat trying to coax a ball into a hole. Its not easy, and anyone who says golf is easy is making an ignorant comment especially if they have never played before. Titles are won and lost with one motion of the hips arms and hands. Dont ever say golf is easy.
I hope you would beat me Tyler, you actually play golf. Yes, I agree with what you said, but judging distances and that type of stuff is mental. I dont understand what you meant with the "50 pounds on your back" part. Cause I imagine when your swinging, you put you bag down that has all you other clubs, but then when your going from hole to hole, dont you guys have golf carts?

I never once said that golf was easy - i said it wasnt exciting. I have never played and thus would not know whether or not it was easy but neither you nor Jake anywhere called it exciting.

Wow, haven't checked this blog in a long time, my bad. Can we drop the golf debate and move on to something else?
You know what's fun? Playing with Zippo lighters. There are just so many cool things you can do with them, such as lighting things on fire, among other neat tricks.

we have now beat spotsy and caroline
and play JM on monday
(on thursday in their match they shot a 188 and in ours we shot a 189 so it should be really close)
I concur with Tyler wholeheartedly about how hard it is to play golf. It's crazy.
