I know this means nothing to many of you, but Kobe Bryant scored 62 points in last night's game!
And that was only three quarters worth. Thats right, he played for the first three quarters, scored 62 points, and then left the game. The Lakers were so far ahead by that time that they took him out. In fact, when he left, he had more points by himself than the entire Dallas team (he had 62, Dallas has 61).

No, that doesn't mean anything to me, but.. 62 points, that's crazy! There's too much scoring in basketball, they should make it harder. A good sport is chess, there's only 1 point "scored" in each game, it's much more exciting.
Kobe was on fire that game, and the scoring is not too high. Ice hockey scores are getting higher. In chess, do you actually score? I thought you just won or lost.
Kobe scoring 62 in 3 quarters is amazing. But something that is even more amazing is that J.J. Reddick missed consecutive FT for the first time in his college career!
In chess, if you win, you get a point.
And I've seen better performances. Of course, that might be only because I didn't really see the performance. Only his last three points on Sportscenter...
John, you can score 1/2 a point in Chess, if you draw.
Yes, that's why I said only one point is scored, in the case of a draw, each player gets 1/2, so that's 1 point total.
Ah, again, I bow to the knowledge of John.
Colin, I doubt you've seen better performances.
Just because you didn't see it, doesn't mean that what you did see was better.
For instance, lets say Kobe scored 100 pts, but I didn't see it happen. That doesn't mean that I've seen better.
