Initially formed in the fall of 2004, the CGS Riverbend Class of 2008 had been together of an epic four years of high school. It disbanded in 2008 after graduation, but it still remains the best in all of CGS history.

All of them?
A select few.
All of them.
Although only because I also have to live on this world. And if were to explode, I'd die to. So I'd want to stop the world from exploding, which would save them all.
If I had an escape route, though, only a couple.
The fact that you would be saving them implies you have an escape route.
And I would save only a few because I know that trying to save them all would result in saving only a few. So I would start with the ones who matter the most, and if I had time, save the rest.
No. The fact that I'd be saving them would imply that I know how to stop the world from exploding.
i'd save the govvies! and maybe a couple others. idk, depends how much they pay me or how much i love them.
You don't need an escape route to try to save people. You just need one to actually do it, unless you stop the world from exploding.
"if the world were to explode?"
That doesn't imply that there is a way to stop it from exploding. That statement implies that the world is going to explode. Theres nothing you can do about it exploding, but the rest of the question asks whom you would save if you could, and because we've already decided that the world will explode, it can only mean that you would have an escape route.
No. It doesn't. But nor does it say that there is not a way to stop it. Or perhaps delay it; which would still save everybody.
And it says who would you try to save. It says nothing about an escape route; and that cannot be inferred.
x.x
You know what, Colin! I'll infer whatever I want to infer! So hah!
I second Eric's comment.
I'd try to save as many as I could save, going in the order of those I'd most want to save, which technically wouldn't be any because I really have no way of surviving if the world exploded, but I'd still try.
The statement seems to imply that the world has just exploded, and you have to decide how many people you want to save, it is not implied that you can save the world, as that isn't a person, some kind of escape route is probably implied.
One.
