i read it and found it quite pathetic...he was telling us to greet death happily...wow what an uninspiring letter

i found it fake and superficial...

but that could just be me

"I hope you greet death as a friend" Yeah right! I would pop him with a silver bullet. Everyone knows that the Grim Reaper can be killed by a silver bullet.

You guys are so mean! Mr. Smith wasn't THAT bad. Jeez.

No, that's werewolves you idiot! Only Homer Simpson can kill the Grim Reaper, I forget how he did it though.

I agree with Lauren, Mr. Smith wasn't a bad person, or a really bad teacher.

It was pretty corny, he should have talked about the truth and how much he is glad to leave all us brats and then we could have responded with how glad we are that he is leaving instead of talking about death.

I think he was just hoping we would all die.

NO really, I didnt think he was that bad. We talked about books once (no one ever talks about books that i actually like with me other than my sis), AND he gave me a piece of gum. Gum will give anyone my eternal love. Maybe not eternal, probably more like for the 5 minutes im chewing the gum. Chelsea would know. :)

You guys are so mean. If he didn't care about us he wouldn't have taken the time out of his day to even bother to write to us all. It may have been corny but I still appreciate the jesture.

duh. Looking back nobody ever seems that bad. But i still could not stand the man. and how long do you think that took?

I'm not saying he wasn't a good man. yet. I'm saying that to me, his faults outwayed his qualities [at least in his chosen field]

"jesture" is spelled with a g, hun.

And i promise you Ghandi was a one time thing.

So I can't spell and I didn't Ghandi was a one time thing... I'm just useless! I just hope I don't end up the Crazy Old Cat Lady

sorry, dannielle, i've already reserved the post of crazy cat lady who lives at the top of the hill. if any of you ring my doorbell, beware....

Well, you also spelt Gandhi wrong... I seem to remember having that discussion in history class one time.
